At a recent party honoring Rung Boutique's VIP shoppers, I zeroed
in on a fuchsia and navy chevron purse. I was working at the event, so by the
time I was ready to buy the purse, I was extremely disappointed to see that someone
had already snagged it. Since Rung is a resale store, duplicate items are rare.
I figured it wasn't meant for me and started to look for something else. .
.until I discovered a second bag! The wheels immediately started to turn as I thought
about what outfits I could pair it with. For the bag's debut, I decided to
stick with the unexpected pink-and-navy palette: navy jeggings, a fuchsia tank, and a sparkly sweater
bought last year on Black Friday. Do you have other ideas on how to make the hot
pink in this purse pop?

Love the purse! I think it would look great in the summertime with an all-white outfit!

Thanks Cassie! That is a great suggestion - the pink will really pop with white!
DeleteThat's pretty. My first thought was to wear it with pants with a touch of the same shade of pink. Just a touch of color would balance it out. Not too much because you want to highlight the bag, not have it compete with another item in your outfit. Shoes with a touch of the color would be cool.
ReplyDeleteLove that idea! I do have some pink shoes in about the same shade that I would have never thought to wear with the purse. Thanks!
